Al Franken is running for a Senate seat in Minnesota against incumbent Norm Coleman and managed to pull close enough to force a recount. As of today the recount, it’s showing that Al Franken is in the lead by a slim 250 votes. And now Norm Coleman is suing the Franken campaign; this is going to go on and on. The senate was sworn in yesterday and MN does not have a representative. Why are men such sore losers? To be completely honest, I think neither of them should get to be a Senator for MN because they are acting like such babies. Can you imagine what the press would do and say if two women were acting like this?
Al Franken was a writer and performer for Saturday Night Live before he switched his career to politics. He was born in St. Louis Park, MN. Norm Coleman is the incumbent in MN. He is most loved for being the man who brought hockey back to MN and building the Excel Center. Minnesotans love their Hockey! Go Wild!
To my readers who have no affiliation with Minnesota: This is still important. Nothing like this has ever happened in the Senate and it directly affects the outcome of laws that are passed.
This is how I feel about the whole debacle…
Here is a pic of the two ridiculous men….(Franken on Left and Coleman on Right)
I thought that this was another funny little thing I found about the race: It’s referencing Minnesota’s ex-Governor Jesse “The Body” Ventura. Those silly Minnesotans…..
